Faith Christian Academy is working hard to spread the word about who we are, what we believe, and why we are here.  We are using our display, selected radio spots, our website and Facebook to tell our story.   But that isn't enough.

We are currently accepting grades K4 through eight and we certainly welcome children for any of those classes.  Yet, building the foundation for a lasting school begins with kindergarten and the early elementary school.  Our tagline of Character*Achievement*Excellence drives the entire school but we are particularly eager to establish those early grades.  The A Beka curriculum is rigorous so the earlier  a child begins, the better.

Children are like sponges during the early primary years and the amount of information they absorb is incredible.  We believe it is essential to start them off with truths of the bible and an aggressive start to reading and writing.   That fast start will serve them through their entire Christian walk and academic career.

With the start of school  only weeks away, there are signs at all private schools announcing open enrollments.  We are no different.   However, as a new school, we don't have the benefit of one of the best forms of publicity: word of mouth.   That is where you come in.  Many of you have been following us on Facebook and now you know us.  Now is the time to submit that registration form online or by mail or by appointment.  Tell your friends, coworkers, and family who want a little more for their children about us.   If you are a grandparent, tell your children.  If you are an aunt or uncle, tell your sibling.

Some parents struggle with the idea of a school in a mall. Some may ask "why" but we think the better question is "why not"? 

Operating a private school is not cheap! Beyond staff salaries, roofs have to be patched, sidewalks have to be shoveled and parking lots have to be cleared. Air conditioners break down, kitchens have to be staffed and buildings have to be routinely maintained. By draining resources from the classroom, just any one of these categories takes away from the central mission of the school.

Few Christian schools could survive on income from tuition alone. To do so would price school beyond most family budgets. Because of that, Christian schools are usually subsidized by sponsor churches- either individually or by collectives- and by prolific fundraising. Subsidies may come in the form of direct contributions and in-kind donations such as the use of facilities. 

Faith Christian Academy is taking a different approach. We welcome donations and sponsorships by churches and patrons- and we need them! However, we have minimized distractions associated with out of classroom necessities of maintaining a building and staffing a kitchen. By locating in a mall with enclosed commons areas, a public library branch, a food court, and other recreational opportunities on the concourse, we maximize every square inch of space to support our biblical and educational mission. Our monthly expenses are predictable, maintenance is performed by the mall and food court vendors do the cooking. Our staff is freed to focus ALL of their energies on educating your children in a Godly classroom.
